“I am back to Darjeeling but my heart is in Nepal and trying to arrange for our sisters' involvement in relief work.”
~Sister Edel Rai, SJC~
CTF Report:
We the CTF
conducted second day medical camp at Manbu VDC ward 3. We treated 141 patients.
Some of the bedridden patients were brought to the camp by Nepal Army. They
helped us and we salute them for the great humanitarian work done. We
found even children with insomnia after the earthquake shock. Many couldn't
even manage to get a TT injection.
The success of
today's camp was that we could gather many of the villagers in the evening and
give them a health education through the help of Sr Augustina (Cluny) who
joined from Gorkha district from the beginning of operation.
“Nepal weeps... We pray to Lord our God might bless
these mountains and valleys and all its inhabitants.”
~Father Teji Thomas, MI, Group Leader~
