2019 Summer Appeals Have Begun!

Welcome Sister Regina!
Sister Regina, Cluny Sister from Ghana, West Africa, arrives in Rhode Island
to begin this summer’s mission appeals.
The Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny, U.S.A. are happy to welcome and support one of their own Cluny Sisters, Sister Regina Timbila from the Vice Province of Sierra Leone, West Africa to share in the missionary work of the Church through the U.S.A. Propagation of the Faith Missionary Cooperative Plan.  During these summer months, Sister Regina will visit Parishes in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Southern California.

Sister Regina has never visited the U.S.A. and is looking forward to coming and sharing the mission and stories of the Cluny Sisters in West Africa – The Gambia, Sierra Leone and Ghana..  She is arrived on Monday, June 17th and will be returning to Ghana, West Africa, on Tuesday, September 10th.

As a native of Ghana she has been involved in the ministry of teaching. She is presently studying, upgrading her teaching certification, in Ghana.
