On January 31, 2016 the Archdiocese of Los Angeles had a
Eucharistic Celebration to honor Religious Jubilarians and the closing of the
Year of Consecrated Life. Three from our San Pedro community – Sisters Ena
Maguire, Mary J. Glynn and Genevieve Vigil – were among the celebrating Jubilarians.
Although she wasn't physically present, Sister Loretto Moynihan was included in
the number of Jubilarians who, all told, represented 5825 years of vowed
service in the Church. Accompanying our three sisters were Sister Mary Patrice
Watson, family members, Associates, Dr. and Mrs. El Sayad along with other
Board members from St. Mary’s Foundation, and some friends. It was a very
joyful day for everyone.
