Sister Mary Elizabeth Arrives in the US for the 2013 Mission Appeals

Sister Mary Elizabeth John visits the US for the first time for the 2013 Mission Appeal.  Sr. Mary Elizabeth, is a Sierra Leonean nurse, working in Moyamba.  She is responsible for our epilepsy management program in the Moyamba District.  Mary Elizabeth has also had experience working in the Diocesan Mobile Health Team in The Gambia, and for three years she was missioned to Ireland, assisting in the nursing home at Mt. Sackville.

It was a long journey from Africa and she was exhausted by the time she arrived. Sister's luggage, however, did not make the journey with her, but the good news is, it was delivered before she had to visit her first parish for the appeal! We will be enjoying her company at the Provincial House in Middletown, RI for the next two months.

WELCOME, SISTER MARY ELIZABETH!
